In our lifetime, if we are fortunate, we will encounter special people that will change the direction of our lives for the better. For some, it might be something that they said that you will always remember or an interaction that left you wanting to be a better person. With Steve in my life as a sponsor, I was able to change in a direction that not only bettered my life but enriched everyone around me. Steve's impact on my life was the pebble in the pond, the ripple affect that reached out and touched the souls of everyone in my life. Steve passed away with 40 years clean. I started my journey in recovery in 1983 when I was 17 yrs old in an adolescent rehab. In 1986 I had hit rock bottom and made the decision to change my life, I have been clean ever since. I'm grateful to be giving you this addiction and recovery podcast.
